Description
Tender Salisbury steak meatballs simmered in rich brown gravy, made effortlessly in your slow cooker for a hearty, family-friendly dinner.
Ingredients
1 bag (26 oz) frozen meatballs
2 cups reduced-sodium beef broth
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 packet onion soup mix
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Spray slow cooker insert with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Add frozen meatballs to the slow cooker.
3. Whisk together beef broth, gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
4. Pour sauce over meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
5. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours.
6. Mix cornstarch with cold water; stir into the slow cooker to thicken.
7. Cook for 10 more minutes until gravy thickens.
8. Serve hot over mashed potatoes or noodles, garnished with parsley.
Notes
For extra flavor, add sliced mushrooms or diced onions before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
