Flaky and buttery Cinnamon Sugar Cruffins made from crescent roll dough—a quick bakery-style pastry with cinnamon sweetness.
Ingredients
2 cans crescent roll dough or croissant dough
2 tablespoon butter, melted
2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2–3 tablespoon flour for rolling
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Open both cans of dough and roll them out on a floured surface, sealing perforations.
3. Mix sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
4. Brush melted butter on one dough layer, sprinkle half the sugar mixture.
5. Top with the second dough layer, slice into strips, and roll each.
6. Dip rolls into butter and remaining sugar mixture.
7. Place rolls into greased muffin tin.
8. Bake 20 minutes until golden brown.
9. Cool slightly and serve.
Notes
You can swap crescent dough for puff pastry. For extra crunch, sprinkle coarse sugar before baking.
